SEPTEMBER 22 at Meadow Valley Golf Club

How to lead an effective team

Bill Born, Partner at Venture International, LLC, will share how organizational alignment and the successful management of teams are the foundation of successful organizations.

Join us on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 22 and find out how organizational alignmentis dependent on several key factors beginning with a clearly understood set of mission, vision and values, followed by defined organizational goals. Operationally, leadership must effectively drive actions to fulfill the goals while managing organizational resources. Good data and assessment ensures operations are working toward the defined organizational goals and outcomes.

Organizational alignment is also dependent on people and their ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally as a team. Each individual team member is unique and brings their own communication style to their team. Being self-aware of one’s own communication style and the styles of others is the beginning of more effectively understanding of individual differences and better communication with others. Everything DiSC®, which will be introduced in this session, is a proven and reliable tool in creating a more effective team.
